Kolkata, July 29 -- : Throwing an open challenge to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari asserted that a large number of names would be deleted from the state's voters' list following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
Speaking at a press conference today, Adhikari said, "No one will be able to stop the removal of 'illegal' and 'fake' names from the voter list."
"The chief minister is saying that no names will be removed. I am saying names will be removed, Names of Rohingyas, Bangladeshi infiltrators, deceased voters, voters listed in multiple places, and fake voters created by TMC will not remain on the voter list under any circumstances.
