Jaunpur, Nov. 27 -- A Scorpio carrying wedding guests met with a tragic accident, leaving three people dead and three others injured.
Police said the SUV lost control and plunged into a gorge while the group was on its way to a wedding ceremony.
According to officials, six people were travelling in the vehicle when it overturned. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to BHU for advanced treatment. Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh and other senior officers visited the hospital to check on the victims and review the situation.
The wedding procession was travelling from Varanasi Cantonment to Seweinala in the Gaurabadshahpur police station area.
