Jammu, March 20 -- A suspicious object triggered panic among residents of Nagrota area in the city's outskirts on Friday.
Police said that a suspicious object resembling an explosive, packed in a polythene bag with visible wires, was found at TCP Bypass Nagrota.
"The area was secured, and the Bomb Disposal Squad inspected the item," said police.
However, nothing suspicious was found, and the object was later identified as an electric kettle, they added.
