Kolkata, Dec. 8 -- A day after laying the foundation stone of controversial new Babri Masjid in his Muslim dominated home district of Murshidabad in West Bengal, suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir on Sunday announced that he will form his new party on December 22 and revert his decision to quit his Bharatpur assembly seat in the district.
After laying the foundation stone via remote control from Rejinagar in presence of two clerics from Saudi Arabia, Kabir today visited the spot where the Babri mosque is planned to be constructed even as hundreds of his followers assembled carrying bricks, iron rods and bags of sands and dumped them on a demarcated paddy field.
