Nashik, July 10 -- A suspect constable Yuvraj Shantaram Patil, who was absconding after being suspended from the police force after being exposed for his direct involvement in Mephedrone smuggling, has finally been arrested.
Therefore, there is a strong possibility that the entire network including MD smuggling and information in Nashik will be exposed in his further investigation.
According police, Yuvraj Patil was arrested on Wednesday on charges of being in contact with 'Chhoti Bhabhi', Arjun Piwal, Sagar Shinde and Irfan alias Chipdya, suspects in the Mephedrone (MD) smuggling case in 2023.
He was produced before the Nashik District and Sessions Court, where he has been remanded in police custody till July 11.
