Itanagar, May 27 -- A suspected case of COVID-19 has been detected at RK Mission Hospital in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, involving a pregnant woman who tested positive through a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).
Health officials have confirmed that the case appears to be mild, and the patient has since been admitted and placed in isolation as a precautionary measure.
State Surveillance Officer - Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) cum State Epidemiologist Dr Lobsang Jampa, who is closely monitoring the situation, stated, "There is no need to press the panic button.
