Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 17 -- The Directorate of Industries and Commerce has successfully completed the first phase of the ambitious 'Kerala Brand' project, aimed at giving the state's unique products a globally recognised mark of quality.
The comprehensive survey covered 1,124 manufacturing units across Kerala, assessing product quality, production processes, ethical and sustainable practices, and safety standards.
The findings will form the basis of a robust certification framework, enabling eligible manufacturers to market their products under the 'Kerala Brand' label and enhance competitiveness both nationally and internationally.
