Ranchi, Oct. 13 -- Bokaro Police, in coordination with CRPF 154 Battalion and Jharkhand Jaguar, recovered two self-loading rifles (SLRs), 233 rounds of ammunition, and other related materials from Murpa forest in Chatrochatti police station area.
The recovery was made following a disclosure by surrendered Maoist Bhola Koda alias Rohit Koda alias Vikash Da.
Police sources said Bhola Koda had recently surrendered to Munger Police in Bihar. During interrogation by Hazaribagh Police, he revealed that after a previous encounter in Birhor Dera jungle, he and his associates had buried two SLRs and magazines near a bamboo grove in Murpa to avoid seizure by security forces.
