Kolhapur, Dec. 18 -- : The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the petition against the Kolhapur Circuit Bench of the Bombay High Court, observing that the establishment of the Circuit Bench was in line with the constitutional vision of providing justice to all.
Advocate Ranjit Baburao Nimbalkar had filed a petition in the Supreme Court opposing the establishment of the circuit bench of Bombay High Court in Kolhapur.
The final hearing on this was held on Thursday before a bench of Justices Arvind Kumar and NV Anjaria. Both the judges dismissed Adv. Nimbalkar's petition and clarified that the circuit bench's decision was in the interest of the common people.
