New Delhi, March 21 -- The Supreme Court has started an internal probe against Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Varma to gather evidence and information.
The Apex judiciary has tasked Delhi High Court Chief Justice D K Upadhyay to submit a report on the incidents related to the judge Yashwant Verma
The sources previously said that the Collegium helmed by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna had unanimously recommended Justice Verma be transferred of to the Allahabad High Court.
But sources claimed that the proposal for Justice Varma's transfer was "separate and independent" of the internal inquiry process.
