London, Dec. 12 -- The Football Supporters Association (FSA) has been urged to lobby FIFAto reduce World Cup ticket prices after a leading supporters' group criticized the current structure.
The FSA claimed that the pricing system for next year's tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico is "scandalous."The FSA has joined Football Supporters Europe (FSE) in calling for ticket sales to be paused so fan groups can open discussions with FIFA about its pricing approach.
"We back Football Supporters Europe in calling for a halt in ticket sales and we are calling on the Football Association to work with fellow FAs to directly challenge these disgraceful prices," the FSA said in a statement.
