Super Cup 2025 set for Bhubaneswar from April 21
Bhubaneswar, March 6 -- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced that the Super Cup 2025 will be played in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, commencing from April 21.
The tournament, featuring a knock-out format, will see 16 teams vying for the coveted title. The competition will include 13 clubs from the Indian Super League (ISL) and three from the I-League.
A major highlight of the tournament is that the winners will secure a berth in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) Playoffs, adding further significance to the competition.
The Super Cup, which was first held in 2018, has been dominated by ISL teams. Bengaluru FC clinched the inaugural title in 2018, followed by FC Goa in 2019, who defeated Chennaiyin FC in the final.
