Itanagar, Dec. 30 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday declared open the five-day Sunrise Festival at Dong in Anjaw, the easternmost village of India, marking the place where the country witnesses its first sunrise.

Conceived with a long-term vision, the maiden Sunrise Festival aims to create meaningful opportunities for local entrepreneurs, promote sustainable tourism, and support the growth of small businesses.
