Chandigarh, Nov. 7 -- Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar, while campaigning for the Tarn Taran by-election, appealed to the people to support the BJP, calling it the only party capable of ensuring peace, communal harmony, and good governance in the state.
Speaking at an election rally alongside Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Jakhar said evidence recovered in the CBI probe against a senior police officer indicates that several more officers were part of the alleged extortion racket. He asserted that the law would reach every individual involved.
