Chasing 187, Sundar turned the match decisively in India's favour with a stunning display of clean hitting, ensuring victory with nine balls to spare.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, India restricted Australia to 186 for 6 despite fiery half-centuries from Tim David (74 off 38) and Marcus Stoinis (64 off 39). Arshdeep Singh (3/35) provided key breakthroughs, while Varun Chakaravarthy (2/33) bowled tidily through the middle overs.
