Chennai, Dec. 30 -- The annual Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival 2026 will begin with five events scheduled this weekend on January 3 and 4, 2026.
The main events of the festival will be held between January 8 to 11, 2026, to a release from the organisers said here today.
There are two events on Saturday, January 3. The Dayakattam contest starts at Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls School, Mylapore. This contest is open to all and free, with no pre-registration required. Children and Adults will play together as teams. The contest will runfor about two hours.
Later, a Food Walk curated and led by Sridhar Venkataraman will be held. He will take guests to a set of popular and less-known snacks joints in one zone of Mylapore. This is open to all,...
