Chandigarh, Sept. 27 -- A minor accident involving the convoy of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal occurred in Ajnala, Punjab, today. A Thar vehicle driven by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) collided with a police bus in the convoy, which subsequently hit a Fortuner car belonging to an Akali leader.
The incident took place in Vichhova village while Badal was visiting flood-affected areas to distribute relief materials. According to local police, the DSP's Thar lost control and rammed into the bus, causing a chain reaction that led to the bus colliding with the Fortuner ahead.
