Hyderabad, Dec. 29 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao on Monday assured farmers that the State has adequate urea stocks for the ongoing Rabi season and that there is no cause for concern regarding availability.
The Minister, along with the Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and Special Chief Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh, held a video conference with District Collectors to review urea distribution and the implementation of the Fertilizer (Urea) mobile application.
He said that against the total allocation of 10.40 lakh metric tonnes of urea by the Centre for the Rabi season, 5.70 lakh metric tonnes have already reached the State, exceeding the expected supply of 5.60 lakh metric tonnes between October and December. Curre...
