Shillong, March 17 -- Authorities in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills have informed the general public that there is adequate and sufficient stock of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) available with all authorized distributors in the district.
"Oil Marketing Companies and LPG distributors have confirmed that regular supply and distribution of LPG cylinders are being maintained without any disruption. The current stock position is stable and sufficient to meet the requirements of consumers across the district," Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, R.M.Kurbah said.
However, due to transit issues, there is a delay to clear the distribution backlog from 1.2 days to 1.4 days, she said.
