Ranchi, Nov. 12 -- Jharkhand is witnessing an unexpected change in weather as a sharp drop in temperature has gripped several parts of the state with an early onset of cold conditions. What began as warm afternoons in early November has now turned into chilly days and colder nights, leaving residents struggling with the sudden weather shift.
In the capital city Ranchi and adjoining areas, temperatures have plummeted by five to six degrees Celsius within just a few days. Until last week, people were seen strolling around in light clothing, but as the mercury dipped, sweaters and jackets have made a quick return to wardrobes. The morning and evening hours have become particularly cold, prompting people to light bonfires to beat the chill.
