Bhubaneswar, Dec. 25 -- Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik has set a new world record, earning recognition from the World Records Book of India for his spectacular sand art installation titled "World's Biggest Apple and Sand Installation of Santa Claus."The record-breaking artwork was created on the occasion of Christmas at Niladri Beach, Puri, Odisha. Crafted using 1.5 tons of apples, the installation was officially recognized on December 24, 2025.
The monumental creation measures 60 feet in length, 22 feet in height, and 45 feet in width, symbolizing a unique blend of art, sustainability, creativity, and festive spirit.
