New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- IT Industry body National Association of Software and Service Companies (NAASCOM) today said H-1B visa fee hike by US will affect Indian IT companies and the timing of implementation is also a concern.
Nasscom said " While we are reviewing the finer details of the order, adjustments of this nature can potentially have ripple effect on America's innovation ecosystem and the wider job economy."The IT Industry body posted the statement on X.
On September 19, the White House announced a new proclamation introducing a USD 100,000 annual fee on H-1B visa applications.
