Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- Mahakavi Subramania Bharati is not only a legend in the Tamil Nadu; he is a great icon of the nation, Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan said.
She said that Subramania Bharati's poetry has got an eternal inspirational power and is still inspiring millions of people across the country and the intensity of his poetry and writings transcend the boundaries of the nations.
The Governor was virtually launching the Bharathi Study Centre, instituted by Tamil Nadu Young Thinkers Forum (TNYTF) to study the life and works of the legendary freedom fighter and Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, on Saturday from the Raj Bhavan, a Raj Bhavan Communique here said.
