Harare, Jan. 27 -- It was a near-perfect day for Pakistan Under-19, one where discipline with the ball was followed by clarity with the bat, as Abdul Subhan and Sameer Minhas played starring roles in an emphatic eight-wicket win over New Zealand Under-19 in the 5th match of Super Six Group 2 (B,C) of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2026 at the Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

Having won the toss and elected to bowl, Pakistan set the tone early by asking questions of the New Zealand batsmen. There was some early strokeplay from Hugo Bogue, who clearly decided that attack was the best form of defence, peppering the boundary with confidence and timing.
