Bhubaneswar, Aug. 9 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today said the "Subhadra Yojana" has created a new chapter of progress and transformation in the lives of women across the state.

Majhi, while handing over the third installment of Odisha's largest women empowerment scheme at Jeypore in Koraput district, said the initiative has strengthened families financially and enabled women to become entrepreneurs.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for 436 projects worth over Rs 452 crore in Koraput district and inaugurated 126 new projects valued at Rs 309.42 crore. These projects include infrastructure development in education, health, bridges, roads, and tourism.
