Phagwara, April 16 -- Three students arrested in Nakodar for writing pro-Khalistani slogans and putting up related posters have been sent to police remand for three days. The investigation has revealed a link to Jaskaran Singh, an alleged terrorist who had fled abroad using the illegal "donkey route."
Police sources said Jaskaran Singh also tried to persuade his friend, Sukhpal, to follow the route and promised him a better life. Sukhpal, along with two others, Kartik and Tejpal, is under scrutiny for their involvement in writing pro-Khalistani slogans. The three students belonging to the same school are believed to be childhood friends.
