Mahbubnagar, Dec. 25 -- Several students sustained minor injuries after a bus carrying them overturned near Jadcherla on National Highway 44, close to a Jio petrol bunk in Balanagar mandal, on Thursday.
According to the police, the accident occurred while a bus belonging to Manikanta College was travelling from Makthal to Hyderabad with students on board. The vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned on the highway.
Motorists passing through the stretch immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the injured students to the Primary Health Centre at Balanagar. Doctors said that all the injured students are stable and out of danger.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, the police added....
