Hazaribagh, Dec. 10 -- A 16-year-old student, Ankit Kumar, a resident of Chaura village in Jharkhand's Giridih district died by suicide after hanging himself inside a lodge room, police said.
Ankit Kumar was staying in Hazaribagh to prepare for his ISC exams. On Wednesday morning, fellow students and the lodge owner became suspicious when Ankit did not respond to repeated knocks on his door. Upon opening the door, they found him hanging inside the room.
Korra police reached the spot after receiving the information. The body was taken down, an inquest was conducted, and it was sent for post-mortem.
