Aligarh/Amethi, March 10 -- A student died and two others were injured in a road accident on Tuesday morning near Kalawati Palace on the Khair Bypass in Aligarh, police said.
Sunny, a resident of Ramnagar ITI Road, was riding a motorcycle with two of his friends to appear for their high school board examination. On the way, Sunny realized that he had forgotten his hall ticket at home. The trio turned back towards Nada Pul to retrieve it.
While they were returning, a speeding dumper coming from the Sarasoul intersection in the wrong direction crashed into their bike. Sunny died on the spot, while his two friends sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital, police sources said.
