Kolkata, Sept. 13 -- Kolkata Police arrested a student, identified as Rana Singh, in connection with the murder of another student inside Dakshineswar Metro station earlier in the day.
According to the police, he was traced through CCTV footage and is being interrogated.
The victim has been identified as Manjeet Jadav, who was stabbed during a clash between two groups of students around 2:30 pm yesterday.
"One person has been arrested late last night in connection with the murder of a student inside Dakshineswar Metro station yesterday afternoon. We are interrogating him to find the exact cause behind the murder," an investigating officer said.
