Mumbai, May 3 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Saturday that the foundation of strong Maharashtra was laid during those 72 hours of oath-ceremony.
Speaking during the 'Glorious Maharashtra Festival' event organised by NCP-AP here, he said, "I didn't become Chief Minister just twice, but three times - once for the shortest duration - and Ajit Pawar also holds the record for being Deputy Chief Minister for the shortest time. But the foundation of the strong state we see today was laid during those 72 hours."
"It would have been better had all former Chief Ministers attended the Festival. It was not a political platform but a celebration of Maharashtra. Those who attended were honoured. I thank NCP for honouring us," he said.
