Hyderabad, Oct. 8 -- The District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner, R V Karnan, has directed strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in connection with the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election scheduled to be held on November 11.
According to the latest cumulative report, authorities have identified and removed a total of 1,620 defacement cases, including 1,097 instances on public property and 523 on private property. The violations involved unauthorised posters, banners, and wall writings by political parties.
DEO Karnan instructed officials to maintain continuous vigilance and take prompt action on all MCC-related complaints.
