Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 16 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today told the State Assembly that strict action has been taken against police personnel accused in custodial torture cases, and pointed out that complaints before the Police Complaints Authority have dropped sharply from 808 in 2017 to just 45 so far in 2025, showing that such incidents are not widespread in the State.
