Thiruvananthapuram, March 20 -- Experts have called for the integration of fail-safe design, fault-tolerant architecture and cyber-informed engineering principles to enhance the resilience of India's indigenous satellite navigation system, Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC).
Developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation, NavIC provides positioning, navigation and timing services across India and neighbouring regions, according to experts from Intelegrid ECC Pvt Ltd.
The system supports a wide range of sectors, including aviation, maritime navigation, telecommunications, disaster management, transportation, and power grid operations, they said.
