Aizawl, Aug. 4 -- BJP Mizoram today issued a statement calling for an end to the practice of blaming the party whenever Christian missionaries face attacks or challenges amid the controversies surrounding over the recent arrest of two Catholic nuns from Kerala.

The party expressed its regret over the detention of the two nuns by Chhattisgarh police while escorting three tribal girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds at Durg Railway Station.
