Bengaluru, Jan. 5 -- Bengaluru West Deputy Commissioner of Police N Yatish on Monday said police have taken up legal action against minors in connection with a stone-pelting incident reported during a local "Om Shakti" procession in the city, in which a woman sustained serious injuries.

Addressing the media, Yatish said a small procession was taken out in JJ Nagar on Sunday evening.

During the procession, police received a complaint alleging that miscreants pelted stones at the chariot near the Panchamukhi Nagadevata Temple. One of the stones reportedly hit a woman, causing a severe head injury. She was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.
