Bhubaneswar, July 24 -- : In a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Police has arrested a drug peddler and seized 147 kg of ganja along with a Mahindra Thar vehicle from his possession.
The accused, Lalit Bhujabal of Puri, was apprehended during a raid conducted on Wednesday along NH-16 under the Tamando Police Station limits in Bhubaneswar, according to STF sources.
Bhujabal was reportedly transporting the contraband to West Bengal in a black Mahindra Thar when he was intercepted by the STF team.
