Kolkata, July 24 -- Aided primarily by higher shipments of iron and steel, IC engines and parts, and two- and three-wheelers, Indian engineering goods exports registered positive growth in June this year after recording a year-on-year decline in the previous month, according to EEPC India.
The value of total engineering goods exports in June 2025 was US$9.5 billion, a 1.35 percent increase from US$9.38 billion in the same month last year.
On a cumulative basis, growth was also positive, with the total export value standing at US$28.91 billion in the April-June period (Q1) of the current financial year 2025-26, compared to US$27.89 billion in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
