Hyderabad, July 4 -- A nine-foot bronze statue of former chief minister and governor Konijeti Rosaiah was unveiled by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge at Lakdikapool in Hyderabad on Friday, commemorating his birth anniversary.
The statue, weighing 450 kg, has been installed at the busy intersection near the Lakdikapool metro station.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers D. Sridhar Babu and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and members of Rosaiah family.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy hailed Konijeti Rosaiah as an exemplary and principled leader who left a significant mark on public life.
