Prayagraj, March 1 -- Miscreants allegedly vandalised and removed a statue of BR Ambedkar from Umari village under the Koundhiyara police station limits in Prayagraj district.

The incident came to light on Sunday morning when local residents discovered that the statue of Dr. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, had been damaged and taken away.
