New Delhi, May 9 -- In the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, several states have ramped up security measures and placed emergency services on a high alert to deal with any eventuality. In Punjab, the state government has initiated a comprehensive review of emergency arrangements in the border districts. As per the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), ten cabinet ministers will head to various sensitive zones following a cabinet meeting later today. Their inspections will cover hospitals, fire services, ration supply, and other essential services.
