Ranchi, Oct. 16 -- The State-Level School Kabaddi Championship was inaugurated today at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khelgaon, organised by the Jharkhand Education Project Council under the School Education and Literacy Department.
Somdatt Dixit, Administrative Officer, SGFI, inaugurated the championship. Dixit highlighted the state's 13th position in the SGFI medal tally as a mark of the success of the Khelo Jharkhand initiative.
State Nodal Officer of Khelo Jharkhand, Dhirsen Soreng emphasised that Kabaddi develops teamwork, concentration, endurance, and quick decision-making skills.
