New Delhi, Jan. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said India's startup movement has grown into a "revolution" over the past decade, reshaping the country's economic landscape and making risk-taking mainstream, as he addressed a programme marking 10 years of the Startup India initiative at Bharat Mandapam here.

"Driven by innovation and enterprise, India's startups are shaping a self-reliant and resilient economy," PM Modi said, underlining that the courage, confidence and creativity of young entrepreneurs are defining India's future. The Prime Minister was speaking on the occasion of National Startup Day, which commemorates the launch of Startup India on January 16, 2016.
