Almaty, Aug. 14 -- Starlink satellite internet became officially available in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, the press service of the country's Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry has said.
The service will enable residents across the country to access reliable internet via Starlink's network of low-orbit satellites. It also ensures stable connectivity even in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas, expanding access to modern digital services, the ministry said.
On June 12, the ministry signed an agreement with Starlink, requiring the company to comply with Kazakhstan's laws while providing services.
