Chennai, July 24 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, admitted to Apollo Hospital, underwent a successful cardiac therapeutic procedure today to correct the irregular variations in his heart rate.

Stalin was admitted to the hospital on Monday after he complained of 'giddiness' during his routine morning walk and was advised to take rest at the hospital for three days. And, today is the fourth day for him at the hospital at Greams Road.

In a medical bulletin, the hospital said the Chief Minister is healthy and is expected to carry on his normal official duties in a couple of days.
