Chennai, July 24 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin, who was admitted in Apollo Hospitals for mild giddiness, was today treated for heart rhythm variation.

He was stable now and would resume his regular official duties, which he has been doing it from the Hospital, within two days, the Hospital said in a bulletin.

It said Mr Stalin underwent various investigations for symptoms related to giddiness.

"The investigation revealed that the symptoms were due to variations in heart rate", Dr Anil B.G., Director Medical Services, Apollo Hospital, said in the release.
