Chennai, Nov. 1 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalinwill chair an all-party meeting tomorrow to discuss and coordinate a united oppositionagainst the Election Commission of India's (ECI) Special Intensive Revision (SIR)of electoral rolls in the state and chalk out the nedt course of action.
The meeting, to be held at a star hotel in the city comes amid strong concerns thatthe SIR exercise, slated to begin on November 4, could disenfranchise voters andundermine democratic processes ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
