Chennai, Feb. 18 -- Strongly pitching for its longstanding demand for more autonomy to states andfederalism, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Wednesday said his governmenthas finally belled the cat and demanded Constitutional amendments vesting more powers with the states.
Tabling the Part-1 report of the High level Committeee headed by former Supreme Court Judge KurianJoseph on Union-State relations in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Mr Stalin strongly advocatedthe DMK's avowed stand of autonomy for states and Federal rule at the Centre.
