Chennai, Sept. 15 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin led the state in paying rich tributes to party founder, DMK stalwart and former CM C N Annadurai on his birth anniversary today.
Mr Stalin, accompanied by his Cabinet colleagues and senior DMK leaders, including MPs, MLAs and party functionaries, garlanded the statue of 'Perariganar' Anna (renowned scholar Anna as he is called) on the arterial Anna Salai in the city.
He also paid floral tributes to a decorated portrait of the late leader. Later, Mr Stalin garlanded his statue at the Valluvar Kottam and paid tributes.
