Chennai, Feb. 18 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin laid the foundation stone
for new TIDEL Parks in Tiruchirapalli and Madurai at a total cost of Rs 717 crore on
Tuesday.
Mr Stalin laid the foundation via video-conferencing from the State Secretariat during
which he also handed over orders to four differently-abled people appointing them as
tutors in TN Government Music Colleges in Chennai and Madurai.
An official release said the two Tidel parks--at Panjappur in Tiruchi to be constructed
at a cost of Rs 403 crore and at Mattuthavani in Madurai to be set up at an estimated
cost of Rs 314 crore--could house about 12 lakh IT professionals.
